Philosophy of Care

When working with patients, my goal is to empower them to make change. I practice from a strength-based, trauma-informed approach and work to help patients envision and build upon their potential. I strive to view presenting concerns from the patient's perspective and help them to create change one small step at a time. I also like to encourage and help patients celebrate small successes.  I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is an essential key to supporting clients through the change process, as well as meeting a client where they are at.
