MCW Family Residency Program

  • A partnership with you in mind.

Outreach Community Health Centers, the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), Froedtert Health, and Children’s Wisconsin are partnering in the development and operation of the North Side Milwaukee Health Centers Family Medicine Residency, a new family medicine residency that trains family physicians at Outreach Community Health Centers on Milwaukee’s northeast side.

The program will train and graduate residents annually, with resident physicians enrolled concurrently. While the residency will be seeing patients and receiving training at Outreach Community Health Centers, it also leverages the expertise of the family medicine faculty of MCW and partners with Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Wisconsin for required hospital rotations. The goal is to expand the North Side Milwaukee Health Centers Family Medicine Residency to other Federally Qualified Health Centers on Milwaukee’s northside.

Camille Garrison, MD, Residency Program Director and Vice Chair of Graduate Medical Education, Department of Family & Community Medicine at MCW is the program director and grew up on Milwaukee’s north side.
