Getting vaccinated at Outreach
COVID-19 testing can help you know if you have COVID-19 so you can decide what to do next, like getting treatment to reduce your risk of severe illness and taking steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others.
Talk to your Outreach Community Health Centers health care provider about other testing options that may be available to you.
Everyone ages 6 months and older should get a 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine helps protect you from severe illness, hospitalization, and death. It is especially important to get your 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine if you are ages 65 and older, are at high risk for severe COVID-19, or have never received a COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccine protection decreases over time, so it is important to get your 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine.
Vaccines help our bodies develop immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19 without us having to get the illness. Different COVID-19 vaccines may work in our bodies differently but all provide protection against the virus that causes COVID-19.
Getting the 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine is especially important if you:
Never received a COVID-19 vaccine
Are ages 65 years and older
Are at high risk for severe COVID-19
Are living in a long-term care facility
Are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant, or might become pregnant in the future.
